lyrics
You see through all my sins so well
But it's a lie as far as I can tell
I complicate this life to hell
But it's mine as far as I can tell
We bet it all
So let's lose it all
I'm still hoping that you'll call
What do we want?
What do we want?
Who is this for and
What is this for?
Those walls grow closer every day
But it's a lie they put in the way
I can't make out half the words you say
But I'll smile, pretend to hear 'em anyway
We bet it all
So let's lose it all
Crossing fingers that you'll call
What do we want?
What do we want?
Who is this for and
What is this for?
The wife
The kid
The house
The signs of living well
The job
The car
So everyone can tell
That we have lost ourselves

I remember when Growing In was released as a surprise, I was incredibly excited. And the way Ace passed it off as something he just whipped up really quick made me excited to just have a little something extra. But this album quickly became my favorite album of the year, and may even be my favorite album out of all of Ace's projects. christovix
The London band's new album is a vibrant postcard from southern Italy, boosted by brass, strings, and pizzica percussion from local players. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 14, 2024
A hushed and low-lit EP from this Melbourne musician, where dreamlike melodies drift across a bed of tender guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 19, 2023
